Your walking way from "San Pietro/Ottaviano" Station Metro A (top) to Soloroma.com b&b(bottom)

Directions

from Fiumicino airport by train
01.a walk to the airport railway station (100 meters)

02.a get a train ticket to Roma Termini (about 9,00 euro at the ticket machine, at the tobacconist or newspaper shop or it can be bought on-board for an extra fee). It is valid for the one-way train journey. You will also buy a bus ticket (€1,00)

03.a validate the train ticket at the stamp machine and get the train. It starts about every 30min, and the trip will take about 30min

04.a when arrived proceed to Metro station line A (100 meters), stamp the bus ticket at the machine and follow 'Battistini' direction

05.a the trip will take about 10 min, get off at Ottaviano, exit to 'Via Ottaviano' (last exit on the left) and walk the whole via Ottaviano road (100 meters). SEE THE ABOVE MAP

from Fiumicino airport by Cotral blue bus
01.b get a cotral bus ticket to rome (€3,60)

02.b proceed to the outside and wait for the blue buses at the cotral blue bus-stop

03.b you can also get the ticket on-board for €5,00. Ask the driver to drop you off at Ottaviano (one stop before the last). Anyway the last stop will be Lepanto station, 400 meters away from Ottaviano. Follow the instructions on 05.a

04.b see the timetable here

from Fiumicino airport by taxi
01.c about €40.00/45.00 + luggage fee
airport pick-up by soloroma compact MPV
01.d we supply an optional airport pick-up service in regular hours for €40,00 all inclusive, from Fiumicino and Ciampino airports as well. This mini MPV is equipped with A/C and ABS, with 3 people can carry up to 2 cabin trolleys and 2 bags + 2 backpacks (no big suitcases).

With sliding front seats and foldable rear seats this compact MPV provides maximum flexibility so it can carry any mix of passengers and luggage. And it takes just seconds to convert this 5-seater into an efficient cargo hauler.

from Ciampino airport
01.e) you can get a regular taxi

02.e) get the orange bus to Anagnina underground metro (€1.00), get off at Anagnina Metro Terminal, go underground and get a metro ticket each at the machine (1 eur), then get the metro Battistini direction (there is just one direction because it's the terminal), get off at Ottaviano/San Pietro, come up from the last exit on the left. Then follow my map above, you have to walk down the Ottaviano road, when you get into Piazza Risorgimento follow the piazza edge counter-clockwise, now you will enter a piece of street on the right which has Vatican walls on the left and a building on the right with an ice-cream shop called 'Old Bridge', my door is beside, buzz to Soloroma b&b.

03.e) still you can take the 'Terravision' bus to Termini Station, the cost is around €8.50, but you still have to get the metro to Ottaviano/San Pietro, so I don't suggest you this option.

METRO LINE A PAY ATTENTION
Just to let go on the works that will renew the Line, from the 10Th of January 2005 until the next three years, the last train is at 9:00pm from terminal Anagnina as like from terminal Battistini. So for the next 36 months, two new bus lines named MA1 and MA2 are added, and they will cover the entire Line A route.
That two shuttles supplied by Trambus, are on duty from Monday to Friday including holidays from 9:00pm to 11:30pm, and on Saturday until 0:30am
